This course focuses on the more creative aspects of photography. Students study images by well know photographers with the aim of developing their own ideas. Students examine lighting, composition, shape, texture and form to create strong visual images.

The tutor assists students with the technical aspects of their cameras. The tutor explains
the camera functions, including aperture, shutter speed, manual settings, ISO, image quality, metering systems, focusing points and how to archive correct exposure. There are opportunities for students to discuss specific technical and visual issues with the tutor on
a one-to-one bases. Students photograph with the tutor in the beautiful surroundings of Dulwich in London.

At the end of the course, all the photographs taken will be evaluated through positive appraisal and constructive feedback.

Weekend courses start at 10.30am and finish at 5.00pm including a short break for lunch.
