A FIVE DAY PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKSHOP in MARRAKECH * October 2010 - March 2011

Entrance to the Riad

Looking across the Ourika Valley

Exploring the Souks

Admiring the Majorelle Gardens

In February this year I visited Marrakech to prepare for the workshop. I found a vibrant place full of colour and activities. I looked for a Riad - a garden house - to use for the workshop and I found an elegant Riad not far from the Souks within the old walls of the Medina. An ideal location for the workshop.

*Exploring the Souks and Kasbah was a delight for the eyes. Full of colour character and activities.
*The trip through the Ourika Valley was impressive with visits to places along
the way. At the end of the road through the valley you will find the village of
Setti Fattma which is located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.
*Exploring to the Majorelle Gardens, created by the French artists Jacques
and Louis Majorelle, was breathtakingly beautiful.

The Marrakech region is an oasis of creativity for photographers. Four (4) people can take part.

Participants stay in the elegant Fawakay Riad (B&B) just around the corner of the souks. Traditional Moroccan evening meals are taken in the Riad or in the many restaurants in the famous Jemaa El Fna square and beyond. The food is delicious!
